Q: Looking for tips on buying a used Miata RF (NC)

Hi:
I'm helping a friend who is considering to buy a Miata as his daily driver. The particular model he's looking for us a 2011 Miata RF that seems pretty well optioned up for $13K-ish (asking). California car. I've helped plenty of friends shop for used cars so I know what to look for in general (signs of repaint, damage, etc) but I'm less familiar with Miata specific issues/quirks.

I know plenty of you folks have owned/taken apart Miatas before so I wanted to see if you folks could share some buying tips on what to look out for.
