...it's not gonna rain... it's not gonna rain... the paper mache will hold... it's not gonna rain...
We've got no roof, or windshield. We're praying for rain.
We'll surely be in the running for the "village idiot" award.
Buy rain tires, wipers, umbrellas and raingear and then... you will be assured of no rain.

Yeah, I remember Arse-Freeze '08 being like that. We were all prepared for rain and none came. Let's hope the same thing happens now.
Its raining now, it will rain tomorrow and Thursday... Even if it doesn't rain Sat and Sunday, there will be rivers flowing across in turn 1 and on the straight between 6 and 7... for sure. Those pretty hills around the track are saturated and the water has to go somewhere...
Lemons mudbog???
time to do the anti-rain dance!!!
I, personally, have evaluated the various weather information sources and now firmly believe that it won't be raining this weekend.
So, if you want to save a few dollars or some space in your truck/trailer, just leave the rain tires and rain gear at home! You'll be fine just planning for cool temps and sunshine. I live in Marin. Trust me!!
Good luck, guys and gals

So the % are changing...its saying 70% chance of rain on Saturday and only 30% on Sunday.....so I am voting for rain from say 7pm saturday to 6am Sunday morning.....enough time to help the track "drain"....
How about no rain at all?!?

Teams have rain tires? That takes all the challenge out of it. We just have the one set, rain or shine.
Snowing in Ashland OR this morning. If it keeps up towing over the Siskiyou summit will be an adventure.
Even if there is no rain, there will be runoff streams over the track and LOTS of mud at T4 to T6

Don't want to hear this, the memory of our last towing incident (our rollover on the way to Thunderhill on Christmas Day '08) is still too fresh. That said I'm flying in this time, I would simply not be a good passenger in the snow!
Probably a good idea to stay off all blue and gold paint if the track is wet.
FYI: water collects in the rumble strips and stays there even if it isn't raining.

Saturday Night: A slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 61.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. "
I hope you are right, because right now it's still raining Phils and Jonnys.

It is raining hard, epic rain here in Davis, just 40 miles from the track
looks like Marin is getting Portland's weather. we are sunny and 60 today with some sprinkles towards night fall. I hope mother nature changes her mind for us, it is much more fun to drink each others beer in the sun!
Things are turning for the better! Yeah now!

looking better by the hour
Just pack your rain gear.. If we all bring it, it won't rain! Guaranteed!
The weather's going to be fantastic - just a bit of rain to clear the air, right when the Norcal spring hits its stride - from the hill above the track you'll be able to see all the way to Mt. Diablo. Pack a camera and plan an extra day on Monday messing around and you won't regret it!
- but I have to agree about water on the track. Had Sears/Infineon fixed the spring that appears in the middle of Turn 1? As a spectator, I'm looking forward to the hijinks and penalties that the mud will allow!
(considering that I'd love to see a Lemons-style rallycross event. . . )
