Topic: Sheet Plastic & Duct Tape Side Windows???

As I assume Fire suits are not waterproof & Since rain is expected all weekend long at Sears Pointless, will we be be allowed to duct tape in Plastic sheet windows??? Cold wet driving suits sound miserable &  plastic garbage bag ponchos seam to negate the purpose for wearing a fire suit.

Tired Iron Racing, Class A Winner of 2023 Days of Thunder & the Hooptie-Con Engine heat Cooking Competition, otherwise just a 50x loser, which is somehow able to finish in the top ten, if we don't step on our own dicks.

Re: Sheet Plastic & Duct Tape Side Windows???

we found that a small 6" deflector on the driver's side of the windshield kept all the rain off the driver even in this vehicle:

everyone stayed dry after that fix was done.

Re: Sheet Plastic & Duct Tape Side Windows???

After racing a kart in the rain, I'd have to say it's really not so bad, as long as you don't stop.  The bad part is pulling into the pits and realizing that you're sitting in a pool of water.
