Who's Z was it that broadsided the sChITROEN while my brother was driving it?
They did a number on it, that's for sure. Didn't look like much but a dented door at first, but the whole sill is crushed along with the new fuel line I ran in there. oh well. Time to buy a slide hammer.

Unless Citroën made their doors out of concrete, I'm pretty sure the Kats aren't the ones that hit your car. Even if they had, I'd probably cut them some slack due to the awesome lunches they make for us at races.

OUCH! The Junkyard Kats ZX is really messed up. If it's only the front end, they could weld a new clip on it. I did that on my daily driver Z and it came out great.

Oh, there's no anger whatsoever on my part-- it was bound to happen since the passenger side of the sChITROEN was a pretty big white target while we were doing late turn ins to keep the track as wide as possible for everyone else. My brother said the Z driver tried to stop-- slammed on brakes and he heard them coming before they made impact. No biggie.

Ok so all the Z's finished besides one that got taken out in a crash lol. Thats a pretty big improvement! Not even any cracked heads or blown head gaskets!

actually 9 since I can't count....make that 4 944's
I also counted 17 E30's.....plus a few 5 series, 320's and 2002.. well over 20 BMW total....
What I find the most surprising is the relative lack of miatas...I only found 4....

Huge bummer about that pit exit crash!! I worried about that course entry all weekend and it finally bit somebody.
As for Zs finishing, our car (#46 Mr Hanky) shoved the cam THOUGH the top of the cam towers on lap 3. We did an engine swap in the pits and came back to finish strong...

27i Its the same 951 that was uber-cheatonium at Arse Freeze with the fiberglass widebody and corvette wheels.... much more lemony now.... not a bad finish either at 36th place....I'm guessing they solved the reliabilty problems?

While I doubt the Citroën doors are that stout ask the fiberglass 944 guys what happens when you hit the Peugeot. They hit the Peugeot's driver's door with their right-front wheel at Thunderhill and lost half their nose, broke the front suspension and broke a wheel as well. The Peugeot door on the other hand still opens and closes normally. I have no idea what went into the steel on that car but it's the strongest that I've ever seen on a car that wasn't armored.

there were 6 300z cars out there. And they all finished.
