Topic: Wierder than a wartburg....

I'm fighting the urge...my teamates are threatening me with bodily harm...but...

One of my friends that came over for body on day today stopped to show me some photos on his iPhone that he took earlier in the day at a favorite junkyard haunt of ours.

It sure looked familiar to me as an odd car geek but I couldnt place it....till he switched to the model script on the rear...

While I'll agree that a Borgward is weird...it's not even close to a Wartburg!

While I will admit to seeing more Borgwards in my life than Wartburgs, but still.   A Lemons Borgward!!!

It's on my list to see if they wanna sell it cheap, from the photos I saw its a basket case but still, would be interesting.

If I'm not mistaken, that car was designed by Erich Übelacker.

Why does that matter? Übelacker, along with Hans and Erich Ledwinka designed the Tatra T77!!!!!!!
