Topic: Rookie team needs urgent cage help for Thompson

Hey everyone,

Like the subject says, we started work on this car MONTHS ago, but all our welders have fallen through and we are stuck without a roll cage for Thompson.

The car is a 2007 Ford Focus and we picked up the kit for it from Rhodes Racing, but no one on our team has any skill in welding.

The car is currently in Rhode Island, any suggestions besides pound sand?

THANKS!!!

Re: Rookie team needs urgent cage help for Thompson

If you've paid up, fix everything you can and bring the car and parts to the track.

If you haven't paid, this is about as late as you can back out. If you want a full experience: pay up, fix everything you can and bring the car and parts to the track.

Caveat: I'm dumb. I'd do the second thing because it's more fun.

Can try to find a local welder. Is the cage already fitted and tacked, or is it just a pile of tubes?
and have you paid the entry already or not?
