Re: brake venting and a few other questions

probably happens infrequently, but my brother was driving cross country in an old VW Jetta, and on the freeway, the heater core blew...scalded his leg and steamed the whole car up!!

For me, I did not want those defrost wires on my windshield, I did not want any extra weight (since I am having a hard time losing any off my gut....), and I did not want any extra stuff, so I got rid of all the AC and heater core, etc. out of my car.
But because it does fog up, a friend gave me a fan out of his RV!! and I just mounted it on the roll bar, pointed it at the windshield inside the car, and have a switch. I've driven in all kinds of New England weather, and it works great, nothing ever fogs up.
You can also hook up the AC condenser fan inside your car
Yea, looks cheap, janky, unprofessional....but it works....

Oh, and also, we wipe some dish soap on .... for some reason, Dawn is the race car standard.....not sure why Joy, Palmolive, etc. wouldn't work....!!!

"Dish soap is an anti-fog rubbing compound and is supremely effective at stopping fog build-up  "
