[ Closed ] '01 530i - Ashburn, VA - $1800obo - SOLD SOLD SOLD

My friend, and one of our team's sponsors, has an "old" BMW he needs out of his lot. We call this one "Frank"...all his cars are named.  Frank is a solid, running, driving vehicle (I've driven Frank many times), full interior that can easily be sold to offset the cost (or keep it and live in the lap of luxury-ish). Frank has the heart of a 330i (engine swapped), solid body, solid suspension, runs and drives flawlessly (well....yes and no). Frank has never left anyone stranded, myself included, and would be an excellent platform to start a build. Reliable, solid, straight, and enough "extras" to allow for maybe a couple of additional "goodies" once the extras are sold off.

All joking aside, Frank is a '01 BMW 530i with about 143K miles. Here's the quick and dirty low-down:

GOOD -
Only 143K miles
330i engine swapped in a number of years ago (M54B30)
runs and drives...can drive it home
full interior (great to re-sell to recoup some dough)
clean title
new battery
new tires

BAD -
needs a driver rear taillight, bulbs work, just cracked lense
idles funky when cold (CEL is on for a vacuum leak, identified large tear in intake boot)
no AC (needs compressor)
paint needs some attention
no radio (who needs a stereo when you're racing?!)
rear bumper needs snapped back in on driver's corner
misc electrical issues, common on all E39's

If I wasn't already building a 2nd car, this would be mine...his/my loss is your gain...come and take him! $1800obo...needs it gone ASAP
