Starts with a car... how's a VW Golf sound? Not a bad beginning,  right?

VW Golf sounds like a fantastic start to racing!
I'm located in Chicago and can get to Joliet IL, Elkhart Lake WI, and South Haven MI for the races. Limited experience for repair beyond oil changes, but interested in learning and happy to spend time prepping the car. Much more experience driving, just over 10 years behind the wheel with no accidents, comfortable driving 5+ hour stints from when I lived in Minnesota and had to drive to see family. Did a short two day class at Road America years ago and would love to chat about racing with you.

I am in Aurora IL and have extensive experience racing VWs in Lemons. While I have no interest in joining your team (got my own problems,) I would be more than happy to advise/consult on your build if you need a non-literal hand (I'm lazy). Hit me up if you have any questions!
