Class A car. Was class B for a long time, but it’s reliable enough now that they won’t let it slide any longer. Passes tech easily.
History: 10-plus-year Lemons vet at High Plains. First raced 2012 by previous owner. My buddies and I got the car in 2016 and immediately sanded away the rainbow unicorns and glitter paint. Converted to GM Vortec 5.7 in 2018. 5-speed is NV4500 (Ram truck stuff, aww yeah). Fresh engine (Thanks Dave) in 2019. 7 races on current setup. Factory GM vortec 350 (1996), EFI, stock cam, tons of torque. Remainder of the driveline has been beefed to perfection . Manual brakes and steering. Mustang II rack and pinion. Professional cage and 20-gal ATL fuel cell. Fire system up to date. New belts last year. Functioning headlights, taillights, and gauge lights. Full gauges. It even has a freakin fuel gauge. BC coilovers. E34 540i brakes, 10+ E36 M3 wheels (8.5" all around). I know every inch of this car; I'll write a list for you of all the part numbers you'll need, which isn't much.
This is a reliable turn-key Lemons setup. And by turn-key, I mean toggle switches. No real race car has keys. You just toggle switch your way to greatness. This engine runs fantastic and doesn't even burn or leak oil. Car is quick, balanced, and brakes hard. Comes with spare parts and wheels, engines too, if you want. Add gas, brakes, tires, and hit the track for the full 24-hour June race at High Plains. Car is in Metro Denver (Arvada).
