Topic: A spectator's view of American Irony

Hi all. I'm a noob to Lemons and racing in general. I wrote a couple of short blog posts with some pictures I took from the race at Gingerman and my completely uninformed opinion as an unbiased observer.

This is mostly a blog for my family and friends, so I'm sorry if it's a little under-/overstated. Feel free to leave comments and/or spiteful messages (though these will be deleted unless you make them funny).

If your car isn't up there, let me know which is yours and I'll throw it up in my next post if I have any pictures of it.

I see you took the blue pill.  Good write up, now get a car, and realize that you have no more time at the race to take pictures.

I have a car that forum member pinkshinyalan and I are preparing for Autobahn in October. There are some bits and pieces on that blog about our preparation so far, and there will be a lot more in the coming weeks/months.

Thanks! I probably should have cropped it a bit, but I had already procrastinated enough in posting pics. So I just posted the pics unedited.

That Tbird was truly epic in every way, Speedycop.

Re: A spectator's view of American Irony

Thanks. BTW, Jay said we were only a few laps shy of IOE, not Heroic Fix. Also, the V12 will likely go in the Thunderbird. We gutted and scrapped the Caddy, after carving it up for the failed V12 swap. We have a bunch more IOE cars to build/race, we don't want to keep re-running the same cars. I tried to sell the Caddy without success. It had to go.

On the plus side, we kept the tail fins. You will see them again. big_smile
