Thanks... I'm glad you liked it. To think it was a bone stock Jaguar (and in most senses still is) when we did our second Lemons race with it two years ago. Honestly we were REALLY surprised at how well it performed. We had no idea how much the wide wheels and increased track would help (or hurt!) before bringing it to the last race. The tires along with some minor suspension tweaks were an educated shot in the dark. Everyone on our team was suprised that it didn't just improve over the previous configuration... it was a completely different car. When I got out of the car after testing on Friday my teammate asked me how it was. I said, "You know... this thing has actually become a half decent race car!".

Now we just have to make sure the head gaskets and other reliable British bits of the car stay in one piece...

Also... it's still 3600lbs dry but I'm not sure how we can get it any lighter. It's already fully stripped down and anything else to make it lighter would probably cost money.
