There was a car just three votes short of being cursed, much like the last CMP race.
Lucky bastards. I watched them drive into the side of the orange crown vic on purpose - twice. The first time was right in front of me on track - maybe Rob will post that soon. The second time was watching from the pits when they plowed the vic out of turn 4 to the cheering of the rest of the team. I'm still stunned Jay didn't boot the whole team. They have no business on a track and are going to get someone seriously hurt one of these days. Perfect candidates for the curse.

Ya, If I had seen that I would have said something. But after I got around them the first session a few times they never bothered me. They were easy to set up on the corners, they went where I put them. Then they were an easy pass. But ya, that would have totally pissed me off.

If I saw that earlier they would have gotten our vote. That HAD to be intentional...not even close to being incidental contact. That shit ain't funny and is very dangerous.
Maybe a post race ban of the team is in order?

It looks even worse on video when you know what's coming. If these guys are ever allowed into another Lemons race, I'm walking around paddock with this video. It will be really satisfying to see an excavator tear into that Diamante.
A caveat here - I didn't personally see it, but the Diamante may not have been the aggressor in every case. I know the Vic and Diamante were in together for at least 3 contact incidents just on Sunday.
They got our vote and are leading contenders to get it next time again. One of only two cars to chop me repeatedly.

Oof, rubbin's racin' and all but that was blatant.
I was talking to the one driver of the green menace (the guy in the front of the chain gang) after he chopped one of our drivers in turn one...we got the penalty, they got a pass (our driver put himself in the wrong place, even after being warned to give that team a wide berth so he did earn the BF)....anyway one of the drivers on the green team and one of the drivers on the orange team are cousins and were "playing" with each other thus many of the intentional contacts. In my opinion that make it worse...putting everyone else in danger because you want to have fun...if they had spun in that clip Rob posted and taken the STS car out I'm pretty sure someone would have gotten hurt.

Wrong on both points. Jonny and Phil were not judges at Altamont. This was before their time. Phil was there but as a Japolnik writer and not a judge. While there was alot of bumping and contact there it was never encouraged and after the third race is when Jay started the no contact rule. Too many people were bringing cars that had nerf bars and were just driving into people to spin them out of the way. Not fun to have a car destroyed in two races from other cars using you as a berm for their cornering.
If I had seen that video, I would have been persuaded to turn a ballot...
I never said they were judges nor did I say that bumping was encouraged by the organizers. If Jonny wasn't there, then I am wrong on that count. But I thought Phil was on the V8 Volvo team.
They really sucked. They were easy to pass when you figured out what in the hell they were going to do. If I had seen that, that would have got our vote. I don't wanna be on track with assholes like that. If they show up to the next CMP race, I'll turn our ballot in for them before the race starts.
