Re: What a blast!!!

Nah, just do your passing under braking and turning. smile We were in the other Volvo 240 wagon (the cow), and passed a lot of cars going into turns and coming out of turns. Not so many on the straight

Its funny the different perspective you get when you drive different cars.

In our little fiat X19 it felt like all those Volvo's were impossible giant cornering behemoths that used all the road in corners and pulled hard  forever down the straights... lol....:)

You might think your volvo is a daintly little ballarina.... I can tell you that from the outside driving a small nimble car it ain't....but you guys sure drove the wheels off it anyway smile

Re: What a blast!!!

I got a black flag and no one knew what it was for..Saturday morning and we were in 13th at the time. I was driving the Dos Boot #70 GTI at the time...

Re: What a blast!!!

You guys ran great out there.  Sorry my driver could not understand we needed to get the car out of gear so you could get out to pump gas - and thanks for the fuel when we did finally move.  We were running HT-10 front, blues rear and they still look new.

I would like to point out that the big bad S-Class didn't come into the penalty box even once all weekend. nor did the second place E30.

Something to think about...

Actually we did come in when our first driver saw a black flag and came in even though he didn't think it was for him since he didn't think he did anything wrong.  Turns out it wasn't for him, but he was so nervous (first Lemons event) that in his hurry to go see Judge Johnny he didn't watch his speed and got a penalty for speeding in the pits.  As soon as we got him unbuckled, Johnny told us he could go back out, so wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it did cost us the overall win.
After a good scolding by Johnny and myself, none of my other teammates went more than 5mph in the pits, lol!  smile
