Topic: Need help finding 15" wheels with 4 on 4" bolt pattern

Trying to get some real meat under a mini and am having some issues finding choices in 4 on 4" lug pattern (it is NOT the same as 4 x 100). I've read that pre 1980 GM cars used that pattern as do some Legends cars. I've found Basset wheels where I can get some new ones (need to check the backspacing options). But does anyone have any advice on where I might find some cheap options? Steel is fine, of course. Looking for 15" so I can run 195 50x15 tires.

Re: Need help finding 15" wheels with 4 on 4" bolt pattern

Forget that.  Go 13" by 10" wide.

I would if you could find me some variety in tires to fit that size and that are minimum 190 treadwear...

I found this web site, which shows conversions between lug patterns, but does not show the 4 x4" pattern, or maybe it just wasn't listed here.

Note the Jensen Healey, which probably imples that Lotus wheels are also this size, and those can have some very light Magnesium wheels.

Thanks. I've come across a similar list with those cars. I think those are 13" wheels, or those that I've been able to look up so far have proven to be 13".

was considering having the mini hubs redrilled for the 4 x 100" pattern since they currently use 3/8" studs and I would need to go larger on those, too.

Re: Need help finding 15" wheels with 4 on 4" bolt pattern

my car came from factory with 13" wheels on the 4on4" BC.  all i could find were 13x7 and 13x8 racing rims (which i have 9 of for sale).  i ultimately ended up switching to a 5on5" BC and wrapped some 295/50R15's on some 10" wide rims.  i figure if i'm going to play the mismatch game with wheels and such, i may as well go 5on5" and get some big brakes to go along with the bigger wheels to keep from overworking the brakes with the changes.  note: i never said this was the right thing to do....but being stuck with 13" tire selection wasn't the best boat to be in imo

Re: Need help finding 15" wheels with 4 on 4" bolt pattern

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has offered help. I went with some Bassett wheels, much like the Diamond wheels, in the 4 on 4" pattern. Should be here just in time for me to leave back east for 2 weeks and with zero time to find alternatives before Thunderhill which is only the weekend after I return. When the car typically runs 10" wheels, going up another 50% in diameter is going to bring a new set of challenges for tire clearance. But if the Pendejo/Magnus Jag can make it work, so can we.

Is this the same bolt pattern as early RX7 / Ford Focus?

Early RX-7 is 4x110mm, and freakin' nobody else uses that bolt pattern! Luckily Kosei makes K1s and Diamond makes steel wheels in that pattern.

Re: Need help finding 15" wheels with 4 on 4" bolt pattern

Focus is 4x108mm same as older Alfas, Fiats and some Alfas run 4x98 (true 4on4), some british cars run 4x95mm. 4x114.3 is 4x4.5 and is common and the RX7 uses that, as I've seen FB wheels on 323 GTXs which are 4x114.3mm.

Only the GSL-SEs had that bolt pattern. They have a drum brake, non-GSLSE rearend in the Brat.
