Topic: Looking for a meyers manxter

Anyone know someone that has a meyers manxter for sale?  Not looking for a Lemons car, but a fun town car.

Manx or Manxter?  2 different cars.

Manx is the original, built in the 60s and 70s

Manxter is the new one, still available new.

Are you set on a Meyers or any buggy?

I want the manxter for the wife.  It would be a fun car for the four of us.  Not wedded to the meyers and open to other suggestions for a reliable (not vw)  powered 4 seat street buggy.

The manxter is VW so when you say not VW Im confused.

There are plenty of 4 seat versions of buggies out there but few pull the look off as well as the Manxter and it is by far advanced in design and function over many other buggies out there.

Of course being VW based you can get an adapter from Kennedy to bolt just about any engine you want in there, but then you will have to deal with cooling as well.

The forums over at http://www.meyersmanx.com/ should have lots of information and probably good leads on any cars for sale.

I meant I don't want one with a vw engine.  I know it is on the vw pan.
