Re: The Top 110 Lemons of the Arse Sweat-a-Palooza Lemons
Saw some BS lap counts in the 4 to 5 figures. What were they trying to sneak through, retired F1 cars?

On a track with 2+ minute lap times, any BS penalty more than about 10 is just extra. For a couple of teams that had the scent of cheatosity about them, we decided to assign laps equivalent to the last 4 digits of the car's VIN. The Make:Way Escort team wanted to set the record for most penalty laps ever, so they brought a Photoshopped printout of an eBay auction showing that their car was worth $151,000.

That is awesome!!! I was wondering how some of those folks managed to get more penalty laps than a few of the, umm, rectally-behatted guys we watched go through. I honestly don't know how you keep your sense of humor when some of those smokey yunick wannabes roll through ;-)
Note to self - don't paint the suspension bits a week before the race.

Re: The Top 110 Lemons of the Arse Sweat-a-Palooza Lemons
Does anyone have access to the data that shows the placing of each car when they first came past start/finish? That data doesn't seem to be available through mylaps, but I'm curious where we started relative to the field.
Thanks,
