Any press is good press. It gets our name in the paper and people talking about it. If it offends someone, they probably didn't know about it before and wouldn't have come, but people who are not offended my check it out just to see all the fuss.

Geeze, it's just a joke folks. These people need to get a life and find something important to worry about.
Oh yeah another thing that chaps my ass (I'll probably get flammed for it) but "Cuban- Americans", or "Whatever-Americans"...pick one. Either you are an American or you are not IMO. If you decide you want to live here learn the language, the constitution, etc.

I just asked the Cuban girl at work. She moved here in 96. Every day she curses Fidel than asks Jesus for forgivness for being so hateful.

I can imagine there are a lot of last minute theme changes being made for that race, and announcing the race would be a hoot. "Hitler has just overtaken Pol Pot coming out of T3, and, wait, Castro just put Batiste car into the guard rail. There's going to be a penalty for that, you can be sure. Dave, Reagan and Stalin have just been ordered to kiss and make up, literally, and the Idi Amin team has been sent home for "crimes against humanity", whatever that is. And Bin Laden still hasn't come in for his penalty yet. We believe he is still out on track although no one has seen him since that nasty incident yesterday."
