I thought the class stickers are a great idea.  I think they got some of the faster car to think about not dive bombing into a corner on the c car and to wait for the straight.  Where they knew they could easily walk away.  Or atleast that it the way it seemed from in the truck.

it's at least a 14hr race...should you be dive bombing any car, class a, b, c or z?

Clearly there is no need to dive bomb in a corner in 14 hour race.

However there are countless clips on you tube that show it happens.

oh, i know it happens...i like the cars i drive to be there at the end of the race so i try to avoid the idiots doing it

We were hoping that the class stickers would cut down on the hairball driving. Of course, if an A gets passed by a B or C, that'll probably add hairballness as the A tries to catch up.

Remember folks, last weekend's winner is a class B car, now having won the class B trophy @ ECR and the overall win @ MSR.

Also, 5 of the top 10 were class B, as was the car that turned the fastest lap.

Summer's Eve Racing - '09 Yee-Haw; '10 Gator-O-Rama, NorDal Hooptie, Yee-Haw; '11 Gator-O-Rama, NorDal Hooptie (Winner, Class A!)
TARP Racing - '11 Yee-Haw, Heaps; '12 Gator-O-Rama (Winner, Class C ... Looking for a Class B Win to Complete the Trifecta!), Heaps; '13 NorDal Hooptie, Gator-O-Rama

Re: Class A B C?

So I'm thinking no matter how I ugly up my civic its probably going to be an A car?

Our first Lemons race in 08, the classes were SW (should win), CW (could win), and NPW (No Prayer of Winning).  smile

I thought it was "PW (Prayer of Winning)", "PF (Prayer of Finishing)", and "NP[W/F] (No Prayer of Winning/Finishing)"

Thats kinda like at Skip Barber where they have a standard license, an "At Risk" License (Which doubles your damage deductible should you wreck a car), or an "OSB" license... which stands for "Other Sports Beckon".  I heard they gave a guy a tennis racket once.
