Topic: So who's in for Detroit Bull Oil Grand Prix?

Saw there was no post for the October 9th Detroit Bull Grand Prix so I decided to start one.

We're in final stretch of having our Camaro ready for the race.  How is everyone else doin?

Well, let's see.  Motor is out of the car, and scattered due to severe overheating at Putnam Park last weekend, trying to find 2 wheel bearing to replaced the ones that are screaming away,  need a set of tires, and need to rewire the radio.  Yep, right on schedule.

Morrows auto will be there with 2 cars, the G-Prix and the other one. The G-Prix is almost done, just cosmetics. The other one, well not so much. I have to wait and see who shows up this week end to help.

@Tiptoe the rat we're hoping we'll go the distance this year.  We were pretty hobbled up last year and this year "we have our S#1T together".  We'll bring some extra trannys though wink

BuckSnort racing will be there to blow another transmission like Summit Point. We've also added Big Mouth Billy Bass (the singing fish) for added performance.

Average temp is around 50F so bring some captain and cider for the night.

F.A.C.E. Racing will be there with the A.S.P.C.A. fiero.  Still working on our second JY rebuild. The motor is back in the car, just not runnin so good.  And hopefully this motor holds together longer than the transponder laps.

Day 1 goes to 6:30PM instead of 8:30PM like it did in April.  Sunset is just after 7PM early Oct.
