I'm actually having a problem linking to most of the websites.
I count 58 cars. Were some people denied or did we really have almost 30 cars drop out? Links don't work for me either.
I can't wait to get up there...
oh great; Vlad and Chard Beef are back. that's...awesome for everyone else on track.
Any page that links to another websridestv page gets an error. The Craptation's link shows a screen shot of Rob's computer, weird.

I thought I blocked the porn.

I wonder if Chared Beef still has a standing reserved spot in the black flag area.
Ack. Try them now.

I know I'm THRILLED Vlad is back....not. My weapon is much bigger than last year's weapon, though. {whistling....}
It appears the unoriginal Duct Tape Motorsports E30 318is is on the list but we somehow got the wrong name, number, and website. Our car is certainly a typical rusty POS E30 but I believe Rust in the Wind is a different team.
A Peugeot 504! Yes!
That's our car! Found it on eBay, some real Peugeot fan was selling it (his other car was a 505 turbo). We've developed a whole new 'appreciation' for French engineering and manufacturing over the last few months - although it does have a PRV V6, which seems to be the most reliable part of the whole thing. hopefully the Swedes knew what they were doing!
Pretty good crop of IOE candidates. Will it be the swingaxle Corvair, the Citation X-11, or the PRV-powered Peugeot 504?

Way to overlook the 1974 Dodge Monaco

Rear-wheel drive mid-70s Mopar, no doubt with a 318, 360, or 400? It'll be as reliable as death and taxes, compared to a Citation!
Corvair, hands down. The Powerglide is icing on the cake
Could be, Jim. It might be based on the general hooptiness of the entrants, though. I haven't seen the Corvair up close, it will be fun to see it. I certainly want a photo of the Corvair and the Citation together That Peugeot looks to be in fairly good condition.

corvairs were actually decent cars. although w/ the swing axle, maybe those guys--if they survive--should get a special "deathproof" prize.
anything from the frogs has got to be an IoE contender. it might look good on the surface, but we all know that underneath lies a cheese-eating, wine-swilling, cigarette-smoking mess waiting to give up at the first sign of trouble.
Normally I'd say that a Peugeot 504 would be fairly tough- hell, they were still building the things in Nigeria as recently as 2005- but not with the PRV engine. But hey, the Alpine A310 and the De Lorean DMC-12 both had the PRV, and we all know what bulletproof machines they were!
OK, for all those who wanted to see the 1963 Trailing Throttle Oversteer entry, here is my ride page from CarDomain: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3321574
The Rollcage is going in nicely, and yes, that's TWO seats, so that Judge Martin, and Judge Jonny can actually drive the car together, to actually see how the IOE award is really won. Hint: It's with 84 freaking air-cooled Horsepower, and a 2 Speed Powerglide BABY!
Here's a teaser shot....
Neither will be there, unfortunately.

Sorry to say that we're not going to be at the New England race, which I assume means that you'll be seeing Judge Lamm hisself presiding over the Penalty Box. Be sure to force Nick to take some laps in the Corvair!
a 2 Speed Powerglide BABY!
oh man. that's like making your straight on the river. nicely done. too bad you have to actually drive it.

The most impressive thing about the 504 so far has been the comfortable ride from the back seat. Before we stripped it out we took it for some test laps around an industrial park, and riding in the back was like being in the finest limo, the bumps just disappeared. If there had been a cooker for my champagne it would have been perfect.

Hey, the cars in Pole Position had Powerglides (or maybe they were Toyoglides), and they went 250 MPH!
