Topic: Racing Suits

Does suit imply single piece?  I have a 2 piece (pants/jacket) that's a single layer.  Can I wear appropriate long johns and be ok?  Is there expiration on suit/shoes/gloves?

2-piece type are allowed, I have one.  No expiration dates on them AFAIK.

2-piece is totally fine. Most of us preffer single-piece as it's piece of mind. make sure you get some fireproof panties since it's a single-layer suit and you'll be fine.

Am I the only person who's noticed they don't make fireproof underwear in proper sizes? Or am I just shopping at all the wrong places? I've been looking into getting some of the nice CarbonX stuff.
