Topic: It's on: who can find the most obscure diecast-car bribe?

When LTDScott of the Porcubimmer/Prickstine gave me a 1:43 scale Leyland P76, it immediately became one of my favorite Lemons Supreme Court Bribes. But there must be weirder ones, like a Cultural Revolution Red Star limo with figurine of The Great Helmsman, or a Mazda Cosmo Big Run Genteel, or maybe a Nasr 128 in 1:21 scale with Egyptian vanity plates. Bring the most LeMonesque diecast car as a bribe and watch me turn a blind eye to those "junkyard Bilsteins!"

Re: It's on: who can find the most obscure diecast-car bribe?

This is the most LeMonesque thing I have in my collection, but considering the competition it's probably too mainstream.

Not that it matters any, but this offer of gratitude and respect was given to Phil on Saturday, after BS inspection. It was ordered from Australia almost a month ago and didn't get delivered to my house until Thursday, after I already left for the track. My girlfriend brought it to the track on Friday afternoon.

I only wish there was a scale drum that came with it to put in the boot!

Re: It's on: who can find the most obscure diecast-car bribe?

I know for a fact I can get the Wartburg in diecast.  So that tells me dang near anything is available if you know where to look.  My dad collects die cast and my mom has obscure contacts globally who help her hunt down ones for his collection.   So maybe you should just tell us what you'd like to see wink

found two i think you'll appreciate. would it be sufficient to waive a set of thoroughly used 15X4" Hoosier-daddy's? 1:24th scale horizon and gremlin

This one from the Model T GT team makes me pretty happy. If only they made a Sportsman Custom version like mine...

My odd obsession is Pez dispensers.  I have alot of non NA - Japanese stuff that is just....well weird.  I'll put out the word to the same contacts, should be something fun for ya out there.

I  have a few really obscure die casts but don't see how to post an uploaded image.
The FAQ section only deals with the race, not the forums.

I was kinda bummed that someone outed my next idea for a scale model on TTAC, but turns out it'd be pretty pricey to get one anyway.
