I have a 510 that was raced in Lemons in '09 with a bolt-in Autopower cage. Is this cage(except needing 1 more door bar ) still acceptable?
Intact 510 bumpers are rare so we had welded some black pipe(front and rear) in place of bumpers? Do I need to try to put original bumpers on the car? thanks, John Team WWF
the autopower should be fine, but post pics and you can have a definitive answer.
Iron pipe bumpers are ok for a 510, as long as they dont stick out farther than the factory bumpers. What did you weld the pipe to? factory bumper mount locations, OK. Roll cage, NOT OK

Umm... are you sure that is an Autopower bar? the weld where the 'spud' connects to the curve doesn't look to be up to their normal standards... and 99% of AP bars are gloss black. That would make me suspicious in general. As in suspicious enough to ask the connector be rotated to make sure it is seamless.
Anyone else?
...and that rust - wow - I'd want more than a bolt in in any case! Floor-bars, door bars, basic Nascar cage!
