Working alone - huh?
He could probalby get help if he had more than one fat tire.
Is this tech?
Oh yeah, that's a pic of your lathe. Must be tech.

Thats exactly what i was thinking when I took the pic!
I only see one beer... what are those other bottles?

Ah, a man after my own palate. You need to visit Galco's Old World Grocery in Highland Park (N.E. Los Angeles) sometime. While they are mainly known for their soda pop selection (450 varieties), they also have 500 different beers! I am fortunate to live just a couple of miles from them. Yes, I will pick up and deliver to any Lemons event that I attend. What brews do the judges prefer?

I think it's some kind of water.........

Piss?
Might I suggest fat tire in cans? I much prefer it to the bottles, and then you can cut the can apart and use it to fix the car. I had a pick up once that was held together with beer cans.
You will never finish by drinking "Lite" beer. Get something stronger and the motivation and creativity will be 100 fold. You will also get more help if you choose a better swill

my thoughts exactly.
The Fat Tire is the first beer...after that they all start to taste the same.
I prefer Porters for my late night wrench-a-thons. Pale Ales are good, too. Basically anything with a s--- ton of carbs.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is my go to beer. mmm
Well, if you want it done well and quickly, wouldn't the answer be "Zero"?
Thank you, Captain Obvious!

I had the same thought! Is it bad we're about to race on the same team? LOL
We measure in cases per week, not bottles per night.

Someone figured it out.
lets see, I count 1 beer and a bunch of water bottles

We measure in cases per night. But the car is never finished, so I'm not sure how to answer the original question ...

Our official answer was 400-something for the first build:

But we had consumed probably at least 50 before we started collecting the cans and counting them. 400+ cans of beer in the trunk = our car smelling like a homeless person.
The damn contest winner was in New Zealand. I lived up to my promise and mailed him a shirt.
And before you crack on our choice of beer, the team is comprised of beer snobs (which isn't hard to do living in San Diego) but Tecate has been our "work on cars" swill of choice when we don't want to get shitfaced, heh. The hood of our car actually has a Tecate can on it to bridge a gap.
