Made for a couple of long days but pretty happy with the result. Just a few more odds n' ends and Don't mess with Lexas is ready to mess!

I love the color!  Do you mind sharing photos of your back stays so I can see how you terminated them and dealt with the fuel tank?

The fuel tank is behind the bulkhead, but that's just sheet metal - can't weld to that. We put spreader plates right on the main frame rails - they are massive on this car - spreaders weren't even needed, but just did that for rules. We didn't weld to the floppy sheet metal at all. They are basically parallel, and nearly 45degrees.. We did spend some time figuring the best place to put them. I would have preferred to put them at the tower tops, but the angle was too shallow and there was no flat spot to put them.
