Hong kong phooey theme?
Anyone why has built a dune buggy could pull that off
Of course an air cooled VW would never need a good theme to make it on the track, so maybe a Miata or BMW 3 series convertible?
When is someone going to build a rear engined car into the Professor Fate car from "Great Race"?
I'd give a lot of latitude with this theme, but to do it right you mush have 6 wheels
There also needs to be a Dastardly and Muttley theme:
Or just a general "wacky races" theme.
Dave Morrow has done some of the wacky racers.
But more is always better.
i'm still waiting for the entire Wraith collection.
the hardest one to pull off in budget would be the C3...and really, if you BSd it with a daytona, firebird, and barracuda in proper trim, you'd probably get a bit of a pass.
double points if you can bring a solid randy quaid impersonation
(tho, really...you might be able to get him to join in. and for that matter...what the hell is clint howard doing nowadays?)
So as I was departing my plane this last weekend, I stood outside on the tarmac looking at all the wonderous machines with exceptional racing potential.
I want to see these become themes... built around something or other:
Bonus points if you build baggage cart cars to follow closely behind the baggage tug:
That is all.

You'll get some hop-ons.
The tug would be a kick ass theme for the Moke.

It's on the "to-do" list.

There was a 737-themed (Southwaste Airlines) car at Sears Pointless last month. The Moke tug simply must be seen giving it a tow!
I've worked on tugs before. If you dress the Moke up like one, it might suffer crappiness by association. They're a worse waste of off-the-shelf parts and engineering than an '81 Camaro.
Here's your manual. The JG30s I worked on had 4cyl Continental diesels, but I think you should use the Chrysler slant six, as specified in the JG40 tech data.
drove past this on the way to Eureka Springs.
reminded me of this ad:

Has there been a "God Hates Jags" suggestion yet?
Or "God Hates 4AGs" for Toyotas?
Why -theme- a tug when you can just have a tug.
could this be the first Slant 6 powered Judgemobile ?
Or "God Hates 4AGs" for Toyotas?
That is quite good, actually.
