Topic: Vehicle inspections

I hope this isn't take as spam or solicitation.  No affiliation with the site other than that I just signed up as an inspector.

There's a new site preparing to launch http://www.jewelorjalopy.com which allows qualified individuals to sign up to perform pre purchase inspections for folks who may need a car looked at.

Its a free service (there are pay options to get to the top of the list of inspectors if you are so inclined) that matches buyers with inspectors. If you have the skills and knowledge it could be a good way to earn a few extra dollars for project money.

Just thought I'd share since we have a great community of knowledgeable car crazies here.

I will note I had some tech problems getting signed up, they are still working out bugs it appears. But if you email the support mail provided they are very responsive.

I signed up a few weeks ago.  Haven't heard anything since then.  It sounds like a great idea.  I've seen way too much auto scamming since the rise of flea-bay.
