Bring on the 929!!!
We've seen a Q45 and an LS400. No 929, no Legend yet. Strangest of all, no Yakuza Enforcer theme.
Hell, not even a Vigor!
don't have a 929...but will bring a 928!!
And why no Sterling?
Honda, head gasket sure to fail motor PLUS 80s British everything else.
What could go wrong?

Didn't the fiat finish the race??? That was AMAZING.....
Hmm....get a sterling, Audi 5000 turbo, legend and 929.....then figure the typical volvo-saab-benz-bmw and its a luxury car shootout.....

The Fiat was running when the race ended, but it took a few breaks during the weekend. 81st place!
any way to field a cosmos? cuz THAT would be epic.

It was junk in the gas tank that did us in for a while Saturday- we'd cleaned it out when I got the car, but apparently not well enough, and the filter kept clogging up. We flushed and agitated and got a bigger filter and got back on the track about 2:30 and had no more fuel problems after that except for a quick filter swap Sunday late. Our other two towing incidents were the coil wire falling off, and my brother (after yelling "I don't need gas, let's go!") running out of gas right in front of the stands. We ate up a lot of time swapping drivers, too.
I was pretty amazed we finished too, considering I'd pulled the car from a field and only driven it around the block a couple of times before getting on the track. (I'd also like to thank everyone who read our sign on the trunk and gave us and our terrible brakes lots of room.)
We promise, zero lap penalties for Sterlings!
I'm not saying Sterlings aren't around any more, but they aren't very common. They were down near $500 almost a decade ago.
I mean it's a Roverized Honda, Rover can screw up just about anything.
A Britishly worked over Jap car, sounds brilliant.

So ... a well-themed Legend would be welcome?
We had a great time & are looking forward to coming back in February.
Here is a sterling supposedly only things wrong with it is a bad battery and the switch for the sunroof.

Oh yeah -- only two things wrong -- let's just put it on the podium right now, why ever have the race?
my dads girlfriend had a sterling in the late 80's.....I remember driving that car when it was new....I sure thought is was nice...powerful too...by the late 80's standards
A Rover with Lucas Electric components and a Honda engine? Hell yes!
Hell, not even a Vigor!
Wow, I haven't seen a Vigor in a looooong time, or even heard one mentioned! I have to agree, a 929 would be a hoot. As for the Legends... their owners seem to be fanatically loyal. Around here, most are long since dead and the few still running are well loved and well maintained.
Here's a Mazda 929 with a blown head gasket in Arizona for $300 asking (that means $100 in real dollars).
Here's a '94 Mazda 929 with a bad water pump in Virginia for $600 asking. Ha ha, crush that seller's dreams with the best offer he'll ever see: $250!
Here's a "93-95" 929 in Atlanta for $400 OBO, i.e., whatever you offer.
Plenty more cheap 929s out there, but you get the idea.
Hell, not even a Vigor!
Acura Vigor, Dallas, $500 (even runs):

For another $250 you can get a Vigor parts car in College Station to go with it:

This thing had lots of Vigor parts on it:
Apparently, this team's repeated visits to the third-gen Accord message boards revealed that Vigor parts could unlock earth-shattering speed potential. The same visits also led to a meth addiction, but that's just an aside.
Fun fact: I had no idea the J30 was rear-drive until I saw one swangin' it at the Oakland sideshow. Woo-woo!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xav8FUMfmHI
I have been trying to weazel out a 94 929 from my stepdad, but doesn't want to give it up.... 188k miles on it and it still purrs like a kitten.... the suspension the other hand is shot and there is nothing available but mazda OEM parts... 4 struts will cost 1100.00 screw that.... it would be awesome to see a 929 cruze the track though...
Don't count out the Legend just because it has front wheel drive! Plenty of FWD cars have taken the overall win at Lemons:
OK, if someone gets one of these, I wanna know about it!
