Topic: G.M. Plant in Oakland. I learn something new every day

Just rummaging around the net today, looking at stuff about the former NUMMI plant, which my shop sits next to.  I find this article about a plant that was around previous to the Fremont location.  The funniest thing is one of my team members is an Oakland cop and works out of the police substation at the Eastmont mall and had never heard of the history.

I have a 1918 Buick and a 27 Packard in my barn - i always get a kick out of seeing a lot of those of vintage cars in one place - new.

Neat.. I didn't know that one either... lots of old car plants here in the midwest... I've spent some time at NUMMI for work (now Toyota/Tesla!)... Enjoyed hiking in the hills above too....
