Alex is singing.
They were in Spokane , WA about 9AM EST.
But what is he singing?
I'm sure some Devil chanting muzak from MM's 80's CD collection.
That Crazy Russian found a shortcut.
Don't push it in the river! It's not that bad!
So that's what the off-road lights are for.
Key hand off ceremony...
The thought of the Super K getting a speeding ticket is unfathomable, but it did.

Officer "What do you think you are, some kinda racecar driver?"
"Absolutely not."
I can just imagine that conversation. How much time did he waste trying to explain the car (which by the way looks awesome)? Where did this happen?
Montana...
$20 fine payable on the spot, CASH.
"Sir how fast were you going?"
"Don't know, no speedo!"
But what is he singing?
If he means Sputnik Alex then I imagine it's "The Internet is for Porn."
Officer: do you know why I pulled you over?
driver: because racecar!
Montana...

Priceless! Does the ticket list the speed? Since the car seems to run better off track than on track, I wonder if it's faster off track as well?
Need pics of the ticket!

Lesson ONE:
1) 85 / 75 = $20.00
Maybe the coppers thought DMX was driving the K. After all, he was busted in a Plymouth station wagon.
I would love to be on the side of the highway and cheer as the K rolls into the Chicago area. Any idea of the time frame of this epic journey? I know it's too early to tell for sure but it would be cool to see.
We haven't gotten any updates since they stopped at Yellowstone.
Maybe they are sleeping, but it's more likely that a bear has eaten them.
Here's the route thus far...
So, with the speeding ticket and all, who in hell is this thing registered to? I can inly imagine that conversation. "Yeah, it's a race car that we have been passing around a bunch of teams around the country. Who is it registered to? Hell, never met them."
Awesome
Actually, Alex/Sasha registered it in MD to himself prior to Monticello and insured it for the benefit of all the K-it Forward participants.
How the hell did he get pulled over in Montana. I've lived there before, and made incredible time across the state, as there are only enough police to have one every 600 square miles. They won't even look twice if you are doing 85 or less.
Unless it's the K apparently. I suppose that is even more noticeable than either the bright blue Integra GSR or bright red Saab 9000 Turbo I had when I lived out there.
