We really like Jay and would like to think he likes us, but Jay looked like he was going to kill all of us.  Don't piss him off.

Oh, our 2 car effort back in 2012 got us the "personal scolding from Jay" award.  Yeah, that's not something I want to go through again.  I also like Jay, but his talk was warranted.  We have since removed a couple of drivers from our list due to that very incident.

Anybody check the weather yet? Looks like rain on Saturday evening through Sunday morning. Should make for an interesting evening of driving.

It has been changing day to day as yesterday morning it was clear, mid 60's at night and mid 80's during the day...less than 10% chance of rain.

The Midwest is notorious in Spring (you guys coastals probably think this is summer) for variable weather and late fall is even worse.  Forecasts are accurate as often as I win the lottery.

Forecast means squat.  They could say it will be perfect and it could storm when it's hot like this.

I believe it's been mentioned here and as well as Autobahn's schedule as South only for all 24 hours.

I've got approximately six BFG rivals with approximately 25-40% life left on them.  Will bring them to the race, we're thinking $20/each.  Will apply discounts if you buy more than one or pay in beer.

I'm going to try streaming video from BS Inspection, the paddock, and the Penalty Box this weekend via Periscope. It's not ideal, but I think it's a fine start. It's generally hard to find stuff, but it should show notifications on Twitter when I'm live:

Did we ever get confirmation as to if the gates will be open during all 24 hours of the race, or will they close at 10 PM on Saturday?  We are trying to figure out gas and gas cans still for overnight depending on the answer.

Tried to get to the track but had crap come up. I've been under a car too for the past 8 hours, just......not a race car. sad
