Just rent a car at your destination and turn it in at a different Alamo in your area! I have done this a few times.

Anybody planning on doing the return leg back to the southeast? I'm planning on taking a few days to drive back to TN from CA, and staying off the interstates. I wouldn't mind to have someone to convoy with. I'll be somewhat speed limited due to what I'll be driving.

If we all make it it could be good.  We are making the round trip to KY.
