If Michael is too busy, I can carry the flag.

Also, got in contact with the track. No camping for us Thursday night because we are not doing test-n-tune. Gates open 7am Friday.
Honestly never seen this enforced if it ever was a real rule but who wants to be the test case?

But you will teach that loud pipes save lives...and we don't really need that.

Not us! We found a campground about an hour away we are staying at on Thursday night so it all worked out.

I wish I had known...with my rig gone, you could have stayed at my place. Always welcome on the (squishy) 2 acres of grass but in this case you would have been on the beautiful new asphalt. House is only 45 minutes east of the track.

We should be pitted close by. Always willing to help.
Coming down tomorrow, see if they'll let me camp. I'll be with Marc and the Excel for my first Lemons experience.
I am goign to be bringing a pope hat for you mike.
Entry List will be all-up-ons social media in a bit, but you get first crack at it on the forums. 110 cars.

He had been A since he bought the car but was averaging two motors a race until I think three races ago. Right combination of "good" weather for that car, good co-drivers, good strategy, past fuel stops and good luck. Now both the team and the car are A class.
Ahhh the dreaded junkyard motor factor.
The Class B winner was leading overall for a good chunk of Saturday.
Until The Happening.

It happens every now and again. The stars align for a team and everything works out. Good for them!
Any chance I can put on 800 treadwear tires and plead to stay in B?

We did that for the Lebowski Volvo last year. They had accumulated enough Volvo parts cars that they had a whole crapload of 14" and 15" garbage all-seasons in the garage. They raced on them to get rid of them and we put them in B.
But you can bet we'll be checking the tires every time we see the car.

Is that what we're going to call it?

Umm... I feel like this requires some elaboration?

Pro tip: If you're leading the race, don't hop in the judges' favorite car--one that has seen much of their blood and sweat--and get two black flags in 10 minutes, especially if one is for contact that dings up said favorite car.

And not just any judge either. We're talking about the one judge you REALLY don't want to piss off. The one judge who, after ripping a driver's wristband, I've personally heard say (and I quote): "Go hang out with the rest of the douche bags in your fancy club house!"
To clarify, the offending driver TOTALLY had that comment coming... but I digress.

We had about an hour to fill so I asked Owen if he wanted to take the Rambler to the checkered flag. His team had just taken the lead of the race. After his second spin they black flagged his car out of the lead.
What ever happend to that brown blazer?? I dont think i ever saw him on the track
