Topic: Toyota 7M-GE

Any other unlucky suckers out there run this 6?

We're well aware of head gasket issues/head bolt torque issues.  What else (besides our bad driving) will send us to the beer cooler early in the day?

A buddy of mine had issues with his main bearings. Check them if you can and replace them if capable. I don't think a bearing/gasket set is too much for those cars. But don't quote me on it.

granted I don't know much about toyota engines...but is this engine different than the 92+ Supras?  I know that iron block is pretty solid and can hold ton's O boost......
