Topic: Exhaust work

So I spent a little time under the car trying to decide how to route and install the exhaust.  We have lots of take off stuff laying around the shop, and there is an Eisenmann race muffler that came off something a few years back getting kicked around.  After taking measurements and deciding how to get it between the factory gas tank and spare tire well, I remembered it was Lemons!  A 4x4 and a good dead blow hammer and it fits perfect.  Like we need a spare tire.  I am really enjoying building this car, it is a nice change from the NASA, PCA and SCCA cars we have to build for other people.  Making what we have work, and building what we don't, as well as scouring the local boneyards reminds me of what it was like back in the day.

We won the IOE at Southern Discomfort.
We got screwed at The Real Hoopties of New Jersey  and we took cars down with us.
We got the curse at Capitol Offense but they wouldn't let us destroy the car.

Re: Exhaust work

Yes, how did you know?  Freaky.

Amazing how a thread goes.  This is what I get for forum hopping at work and rambling on about a muffler.

Re: Exhaust work

Make sure to drill a small hole in the side of the muffler and insert a couple dozen machine screws before patching the hole. LEMONATE IT!!!
