The ambulance is ready and the car is a knockin- We are ready for MSR

Well as much time as I thought I had to get ready for this race it still ended up coming down to the last few days. 

The car drove for the first time ( with >1 gear ) since blowing up in October yesterday and my chase car claims to have heard a knocking from the motor. 

I guess we should have replaced the bearings, they looked fine...  Too bad 4.6 parts are stupid expensive and yes, I do feel sorry for the 928 guys, we decided against racing the 928 we had access to due to parts cost / 500 budget issues.  I'm lucky in that we have a couple of old cheap bastards working on the car who can make any old junk work again.  Lets hope it all hold up for 14 hours of torture.

In any case, we will have a blast like last time and hope to finish without black flags and in the top 20.
