Topic: Tail Lights and Brake Lights for High Plains Drifter

Hi all, does anyone know if tail/brake lights need to be on the rear of the car (like normal tail/brake lights) or can they be inside of the car facing out the rear window?

I am pretty sure I've seen a bunch of Lemons cars at normal races with the brake lights inside the back window, but I don't know if something is different for the night racing at HPD.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Tail Lights and Brake Lights for High Plains Drifter

I don't recall location but I remember seeing a few cars at the HPR 24 with pretty mediocre brake lights. Gotta be careful with windshield location since it can limit field of view.

Any reason why you can't use lights at the factory location? Not even bolting trailer lights into location? We use both factory tail lights and usually have a 3rd light behind window/in that location that also blinks. Drivers will start getting pretty tired and I think indicator lights should be pretty obvious.

also add some reflective tape around the perimeter of your car.
