how about a website that does not give off 10,000 lumens from my 24" monitor...
and each page i click on ... i see the same dood smokin a Marlboro?

I have uBlock Origin on my PC.
It has a feature that allows blocking of individual elements on a website.
It blocks the image and leaves everything else. Frees up some space too.
uBlock Origin works on cellphones too but I haven't figured out how to block specific elements on a phone.

It's not that bad on a computer but on my phone its terrible

Not a fan of it either...not just the white.
I'm just impressed that whoever put that picture together didn't realize that it takes up most of the screen. Headers should be compact and out of the way. Having to scroll down each time the page is refreshed to see the list of active topics is just bad UI design.
But we can set back to the old layout, so all is well.
