Topic: SOLD: 1996 Saturn SL2 racer - $2000.00

We are thinning the herd to make room for and help fund a new build. We are selling off one of our fleet. The (in)famous Rookie Monster is going up for sale. It is a 1996 Saturn SL2, 1.9L DOHC, 5 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel disc brakes, front and rear sway bars and lowered on cut springs. It is running the stock fuel system and its been heavily lightened.  This is a great starter car.

The car last raced at the Halloween Hooptiefest in October 2023. You can see pictures of the racecar on our Facebook page.

The downside is that the engine failed at NHMS so it doesn't run anymore. The only other known mechanical issue is the tach doesn't work. We are asking $2000.00 for the car as it sits. If there is no interest, we may fix it later on in the year but that'll mean the price will go up so here is your chance to get a fully caged/prepped Lemons car for much less than it would cost to build one yourself.

Just a reminder, the north east race season is fast approaching and this beauty is still for sale. $2500.00 is a steal for a Lemons vehicle. If we end up fixing it ourselves, the price is just going to go up!
