Topic: Biggest loser game at the ridge friday.

Hey so one of the guys on our team has a car scale, so I built some ramps for quick weigh ins.

Thought it might be fun to let anyone who wants weigh your lemon.  Then we can see who dropped the most weight compared with curb weight spec on edmonds.  Ie "biggest loser"

I think it was Chapman who said something like "to add quickness you must add lightness"

So come find team Tacocat racecar and let's see how much garbage you took out of your crapcan!

Rules:  there is no prize, nobody actually cares,  if it rains too hard, or our stuff breaks we might give up.  Also we are not responsible for your car or safety.  Oh and maybe try and show up with a full tank.  Curb weight is fully wet.

Having trouble finding us?  We have the subaru painted like a tacocat!

Re: Biggest loser game at the ridge friday.

We will definitely stop by for this with the Bortina, in our case it will be how much weight we added…

I will be there with the X1/9. Very curious to see how much heavier we made it.

"Complicate, then add heaviness" has been our guiding principle.

Wow I hope someone else made ther junk lighter!

Das Cortina probably is at least lighter than an e30?

We just figured it was cheaper to cut stuff off

Our Saturn wagon is definitely lighter but we're on the wrong coast.

1992 Saturn SL2 (retired) - Elmo's Revenge -  Class B winner, Heroic Fix winner x2
1969 Rover P6B 3500S(sold) - Super G-Rover - I.O.E Winner, Class C Winner
1996 Saturn SW2 - Elmo's Revenge (reborn!), Saturn SL1  Dazzleshipm Class C x2 and IOE winner
1974 AMC Javelin - Oscar's Trash heap - IOE,”Organizer's Choice" and "I got Screwed" award winner

Re: Biggest loser game at the ridge friday.

I'm thinking the cage and a full cool system cooler probably outweighs what I've removed so far; and I haven't yet purchased a fire suppression system, so I don't know how much that'll add.

This has piqued my interest.

I’m really curious, the e30 part is a convertible, so already heavier than a coupe. All the convertible stuff seemed to weigh a LOT, certainly more than a tin roof.

But, most of the e30 is still under there. Front fenders, doors, trunk lid, rear panel and windscreen surround are gone. All the rest is still there
