Topic: has Ricky Bobby received a proper tribute?

I've got this 88 Turbo Coupe' and it would make a great NASCAR re creation.  I've searched for both Ricky Bobby and Talladega Nights and found nothing other than a few quotes.

We could re create the paint scheme pretty well on the T bird, and I could run around in a pair of skivvies screaming, "I'm on fire!"

OK, now it's time for someone to tell me that it's been done to death.

As long as you have a bleach blonde in the stands on some rednecks shoulders that yells "Hey driver, drive these!" every time you go by....... You would be fine.

CMP last spring...the People's Curse award winners did a half-hearted TN theme...one of the drivers had Ricky Bobby's Wonder Bread suit and another had Jean Girard's Perrier suit (and I don't mean they had suits that looked like them...they had the actual suits worn by Ferrell & Cohen in the movie).

CMP had the Racing suits like in the movie.

I saw the Im on fire routine in Tx. The guy was running a 80s GM car.

There was a Texas 'stang(which apparently did not make the promoters say "dang")that had a nice "Wondur" bread livery goin' on.
