Topic: Help identify a car?

A buddy saw this up in the NorthEast.  No identifying marks of any type.  I'm guessing French, but can't seem to match it to anything.

Any ideas?

Update:  on another site the car has been identified as a Bond Equipe GT4S

I kinda like it

Frame off resto - I think it'd look pretty good.  Not the fastest or most powerful - but sometimes just cruisin' is the way to go.
