Topic: What's the coolest-looking intake manifold?
I posed this question for Jalopnik readers today, but I think Lemons racers will make better selections. Whaddya think? Taurus SHO? Porsche 928? Plymouth Sonoramic?

Ok, it's not very modest of me... but I think the Mercedes V12 intake manifold was pretty bad ass... the thing was half as tall as I was and one solid unit. This picture doesn't even show the whole thing, I'll see if I can find another pic:
Even though I'm building my 96 with a two-stroke, I'm sticking with the answer I posted on Jalopnik: the SAAB Sport & Rally intake for the V4:
Plenty more pics of that car here:

Nothing says speed like 16 cylinders with mechanical injection with twin distributor. Even though it is a P car.
Then there is just crazy everything. I would not even want to be sitting in the seat when it lit off.
Ok ok... I have to admit that the intake does not look as cool when fully installed unfortunately...
On the J I said either the GT-R's or the slant six, but after mulling it over, I definitely prefer the leaning tower o' power.

That is the best use of a Roots blower ever.

AWESOME!
Who needs to see where you are going anyway...
I just realized that it's right hand drive. Even cooler!
Is pic blocked now?
Right click the picture and select 'view image', they have an anti-embedding mod on the server it is hosted on.
All of these are prety exotic... As far as "real" cars go, the 1983 Toyota starlet has a great one... For little bitty chromed stacks.. Also the Alfa late v6's have nice ones too...
Sonoramic, for sure.
the 928, love the TB under the intake, looks like a spider. Also the Mercedes 6.3 was pure sex:

928 all the way

Ok, technically not a "manifold", my bad.

My HS physics professor taught us to use one of those. I could keep up with someone with a calculator. He did it because calculators were prohibited from the standardized testing, but no mention was made of slide rules.
i dunno man, I have always loved the psychotic art of the SHO manifold
VERY steampunk

How about a polished SHO manifold?
