Topic: Help with adding a second 6 pole cut off switch

I'm redoing the inside of my Lemons car.  Currently there is a 6 pole cut off switch mounted outside on the cowl, but I am adding a second 6 pole cut off switch in series that is located inside the car within reach of the driver.

I have it all hooked up in series, but I can't figure out what to do with the alternator and resistor "charge dump" switch.  Do I run a wire from the alternator to both switches and run a ground and resistor to both switches?  Will that still protect the alternator?

Re: Help with adding a second 6 pole cut off switch

personally, we made our inside kill switch a bit simpler since there are no requirements for a full kill switch. we just wired it to the ignition coil power and fuel pump power and left the full battery power alone. i did not want to be stringing a 4 guage battery cable all over the place.

all of our drivers understand the difference between both kill switches and are happy with the inside one.
