3.7: Fire-Retardant Clothing: Full SFI 3.2/A- or FIA 8856-2000-certified  fire-retardant driving suits must be worn by all drivers at all times while inside the car.

I'd suggest that you talk with Jay about it; I remember some discussion about the 1986-standard suits quite awhile back. But just on the face of it, no, that suit wouldn't qualify since it's homologated under the 1986 FIA standard, which has been superseded by the 2000 standard (8856-2000). Good luck.

I have a spare, Lemons legal suit for one of my drivers.
We were trying to save him the expense of buying the nomex underwear, which turn out to be fairly inexpensive anyway. ( $75 )
