Topic: Daihatsui Hijets

Are Daihatsui Hijets legal for Lemons? I believe  they are street legal in Canada, Montana, and maybe some other states. The one on Pimp My Ride was driving around in CA.

Reason for asking is I have a line on some for free, and just picked one up myself. They would need some serious frame reinforcement or driver relocation (Which opens up all kinds of ideas) if you wanted to run one. They actually handle quite well since they are MR. Some guys in Japan even track them.
