Topic: Helmet visors

Anyone running a tinted visor (amber, smoke, mirror etc etc) and if so any general consensus on what's good or bad?

Thanks

Re: Helmet visors

I run with my visor cracked to get air so I end up wearing sunglasses under anyway.

We won the IOE at Southern Discomfort.
We got screwed at The Real Hoopties of New Jersey  and we took cars down with us.
We got the curse at Capitol Offense but they wouldn't let us destroy the car.

Re: Helmet visors

If you're OK with swapping the visor, a tinted one might be nice—on sunny days I usually wear sunglasses under mine.

As mentioned above, I also crack mine (one click up) to get some airflow for comfort and to keep from fogging up.  I should probably get my helmet ventilation figured out.

I have to wear eyeglasses .... hence the something tinted.  Just not sure which is better / best

Re: Helmet visors

I believe you can also find tinded tearoffs.  That way if the sun goes down, you can revert to clear.
