Topic: Two Tachs?

I found a very nice tach from a fiat today. Any recommendation on running it as a second tach on the hood like the muscle cars? I would like to keep the stock one, you know, for concourse duty.

Go to 7/11 and buy a Leggs Egg stocking.  Throw away the stocking.  Use half the egg to make a cool pod for the tach.  Bolt to hood.  Lemons!!!

I have another one that may hit ebay. It's just too nice not to use on the Lemonsmobile. Thanks for the correction on the car. I found it in a random junkyard car. It was a good day for me, I also found a Sparco seat on the way out.

It's probably a high-end shop full of nice cars, but he's hammered and thinks it's a pick-a-part... big_smile

Re: Two Tachs?

Guessing from redline, I'd say that is out of either a 69 or a 71 1750 GTV or boat tail (Duetto) spider. The earlier cars with the 1600 had a higher redline and the 2Ls all had a lower redline.
