Topic: New SoCal Alfa team

So I finally got around to entering for Arse-Freeze-Apaloosa at Buttonwillow. Our team is called Rotbox Racing, named after the Top Gear quote "All Alfas are just ugly little rotboxes, and you would have to be galactically stupid to buy one". We promptly ignored that and bought an Alfetta with cage from Magnus racing. It ran at last year's race at Buttonwillow, but did not make the whole race. Slowly but surely we have been working our way through the car, mostly sorting out issues with the fuel system, especially the Italian engineered "Spica" injection. Our team is me and three of my cronies, all in high school. I have had mild exposure to autocross, but this is collectively our first foray in wheel to wheel racing. We have run at SCCA and BMWCCA autocross for practice, and are going to run a few days up at Buttonwillow to get the car up to speed. Along with that we have made it a goal to bother everyone we can with the car. Painting it with Rustoleum in my driveway, showing up at SCCA National Tour, and also trying to convince the local Italian car club to let us show it at one of their gatherings. We do not limit ourselves to racing however, this is also a concourse car. We have entered in back to back days at Montery, with the Concourse Italiano at the Quail (kind of a dump) and the far more prestigious Concourse d'Lemons at the beautiful Toro park. All of this is Lemons inspired tomfollery, and it is good fun.

I just wanted to say hello and introduce the team.
